Woodbourne x ORECA Summer Networking Social

The Woodbourne x ORECA Summer Networking Social brought together students and real estate industry professionals for an evening of conversation, connection, and plenty of first-time networking experiences. Hosted at La Plume at The Well in downtown Toronto, the event created a relaxed environment for students to step outside their comfort zones, meet people working in the real estate industry, and begin building professional relationships. For many attendees, this was their first networking event, making the evening an especially exciting opportunity to learn how meaningful connections can start with something as simple as an introduction and a conversation.

From candid conversations and introductions to group photos and those in-between moments that often tell the best story, there was plenty to capture throughout the evening. As a Toronto event photographer, I always enjoy photographing events where people are genuinely engaged with one another, and this social had no shortage of those moments. It was great to see students connecting with experienced professionals across Toronto’s real estate and commercial real estate community, while also getting a glimpse into the people and conversations that help shape the industry.

Events like the Woodbourne x ORECA Summer Networking Social are a great reminder that professional networking does not have to feel overly formal or intimidating. Sometimes, it is simply about showing up, introducing yourself, asking a question, and seeing where the conversation goes. I was happy to document the evening and capture some of the moments that made this Toronto real estate networking event memorable.
