ULI Toronto: WLI Championship Event 2026
I recently had the opportunity to photograph ULI Toronto's Women Leaders Paving the Way event, hosted by the organization's Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI) at McCarthy Tétrault in downtown Toronto.
The evening celebrated 12 years of WLI Champions while welcoming the 2026 Champions, bringing together professionals from across the commercial real estate industry for meaningful conversations around leadership, mentorship, career progression, and building stronger, more inclusive professional networks.
From the announcement of the new Champions to the conversation between Jaime McKenna, Veronica Maggisano, and moderator Emily Hanna, there was a common theme throughout the evening: investing in people and creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
One of the things I love most about photographing events like this is capturing the moments that happen between the agenda items. The conversations during networking, the introductions that lead to new opportunities, and the genuine interactions that often become the lasting memories of the event.
